Our Team

Creative. Experienced. Results driven.

Founded in 2002, we're a small team that delivers big results.

CHERI HEGI / Creative

Cheri is full of Yankee work ethic and passion for all things new. Prior to co-founding Primal Media in 2002, Cheri honed her skills in print and marketing, working for local firms in the Boston area.

Since then she has created numerous successful web and marketing campaigns for small independents, Fortune 500 companies and international non profit organizations, picking up more than a few design awards along the way.

With a BA with Honours in English and Contemporary Studies from the University of King’s College, Cheri is pretty interesting to talk to... if you like talking about semiotics and visual theory. And, who doesn’t? As creative director and resident SEO goddess, her keen intellect, passion for design and fanatical dedication to ROI translates into simple, clear communications that get results.

After hours, Cheri can be found behind the lens, obsessively photographing the fabulous people and landscapes of Maui. An avid reader, she relies on paddle boarding, yoga, and her two children to tear her away from a good book. Occasionally she’s been known to sleep, though not as much since she became a mama.

Adam Hegi

ADAM HEGI / Project Manager and Business Strategy.

Adam is a unique mix of brains and creativity. At four years old, he was a chess prodigy. By fourteen, he had written two award-winning plays. Now a Project Manager, he takes whatever products are thrown at him and motivates and inspires the team to produce feature-rich standards-compliant websites, ecommerce, and cloud projects. Adam is an expert in both Agile and Waterflow Development Methodologies; with core stength in Business Strategy and Client Relations.

An avid mountain biker, Adam biked the U.S. twice before starting up Guru Computers, a computer networking, support and security company, which he sold in 2007 after 12 years. During that time he supported over 750 clients in security, medical, financial, publishing and nonprofit sectors, including a DARPA contract.

A serial entrepreneur, Adam got his start selling his brother’s personal belongings when he was seven and hasn’t looked back once. His knack for business and ability to translate techno-babble make him a favorite with clients.

In his “spare” time, Adam enjoys paddle boarding, getting lost in the woods, swimming, and shredding the trails on one of his mountain bikes. He maintains an enviable work-life balance through yoga, meditation, and a disciple’s dedication to the lost art of power napping.
